Twitter Knowledgebase

Once Qlue Twitter is installed you can find the module in Extensions->modules, then search for twitter. One you have the module settings open, the first step is to select which type of feed you would like, either a feed of tweets from a specific user or hashtag. There will be a field where you can type in either a #hashtag or user @handle, depending on what you have selected.

The display type setting lets you control how to display the module. Either as a single tweet, vertical scroller or horizontal slider. The last two allow you to display multiple tweets, and the last is the best option for wide positions.

In order for the module to display you should make sure the a Position has been selected on the right hand side, the module has been set to published, also on the right hand side, and you have selected pages in the Menu Assignment tab.

Our modules are equipped with conditional fields meaning you only see the fields relevant to the options you have selected. So don't worry if you cant see some of the options listed bellow.

The Style tab contains most of the settings for customising the display of the module. Colours are selected with a colour picker or entered in the #ffffff format. Dimensions and sizes are entered in px or %. px is short for pixels, this defines a static size. % is percentage which defines a dynamic, relative, size.

Module

Field	Description
Feed Type	User - Grabs tweet timeline from user/s specified in the User field. Hashtag - Grabs tweets containing the hashtag/s specified in the Hashtag field.
Show Replies	Show tweets that are in reply to the selected user/s tweets.
Safe Filter	Enable to hide potentially sensitive or harmful tweets.
Display Type	Single Tweet - Displays a single, static tweet. Vertical Scroller - Displays a scrolling box, containing multiple tweets. Number of tweets displayed in controlled by Max Tweets field. Horizontal Slider - Displays a slider, showing one or more tweets at a time and rotating to display more. Number of tweets loaded controlled by Max Tweets. Number of tweets to show at once controlled by Max Slides. Speed to rotate tweets defined is milliseconds in Slide Speed field.
Slide Navigation Dots	Defines whether a series of dots bellow the slides are displayed. These dots allow navigation between the slides.
Show (retweet/like/reply)	Allows you to show or hide different social actions.
Show Media	If set to Yes, the module will load and display tweets with images and videos.

Style

Field	Description
Tweet Border	This option places a border, with a background and other styling options, around each tweet.
Width	Width of the module. In px or %.
Height	Height of the module. In px or %.
Border Radius	Radius of the border. Defines the curve of the corners. In px or %.
Border Colour	The colour of the borders around the module.
Text Colour	The colour of the text in the module
Background Colour	Background colour of the module.
Icon Colour	Colour of the social icons on the module.
Link Colour	Colour of links.
Retweet Display	Display retweet action as either an icon or as text.
Like Display	Display like action as either an icon or as text.
Reply Display	Display reply action as either an icon or as text.
Follow Button Colour	Background colour of the follow button
Follow Text Colour	Text colour on the follow button.
Follow Border Colour	Colour of the border on the follow button.

Profile

Field	Description
Show picture	Show profile pictures, on user profile above tweets.
Show User Handle	Show the @handle on user profiles.
Show Follow Button	Show the follow button.
Link User Handle	Like the user @handle so clicking it takes you to their twitter page.
